My Colorectal Cancer Treatment Side Effects is an online tool designed by CCRAN for patients who are, or who will be, undergoing drug therapy for colorectal cancer treatment. It is a trusted and quality source of information to assist patients with the management of treatment-induced side effects. Patients can select from an alphabetized list of side effects to learn about the cause and symptom(s) of the side effect, as well as potential remedies or treatments.
The goals are to aid patients in recognizing early signs of drug-induced adverse events, improve patients’ quality of life during treatment, and promote thoughtful communication with their treating oncologist; thereby, potentially reducing the need for reduced or altered treatment plans.
